This wonderful full day trip to fabulous Byron Bay allows free time for shopping and sightseeing, as well as visiting Cape Byrone Lighthouse and Crystal Castle.
Departing from our Gold Coast pick points by 8am, you will head southward toward Byron Bay for a fabulous day of sightseeing and retail therapy. Following the beautiful Pacific Ocean, where you are likely to spot sea turtles, whales and frolicking dolphins just off shore, past some of the most spectacular scenery on the east coast.
Arriving in Byron Bay, one of the eastern seaboard's most iconic and stunningly beautiful beachside locales, you will visit the cliff top Cape Byron Lighthouse, Australia's most easterly point. From here you will enjoy 360 degree panoramic views of beaches, unspoilt hinterland and rolling waves.
Byron is home to our next destination, the much-loved Crystal Castle. Delight in a place of natural crystals of every shape, size and colour, stroll through extraordinary gardens and sample the mouthwatering menu. Be at peace with Buddha. We spend around 2 hours here, which gives you enough time to explore and have lunch (own cost).
With a reputation for being Australia's alternative lifestyle capital, Byron Bay is the perfect place to soak up the ambiance and relaxed atmosphere amid spectacular scenery. Enjoy a little less than an hour to wander through craft and clothing shops which highlight the cultural uniqueness of the area. With a vast array of land and sea based activities, including markets, arts and crafts, surfing, swimming, whale watching, yoga and nature walks, there are endless enjoyable endeavours.
On the return journey to the Gold Coast, enjoy the magnificent views of the hinterlands and glimpses of the surf coast.
At the end of your tour, you’ll be returned to the Gold Coast at around 4.30pm.
