It is not long before you leave Hobart behind and head down to the ferry for the short crossing over to the magical Bruny Island. This island is a feast for your senses! The scenery is amazing and changes throughout the island. The 360 degree views from The Neck will have you taking way too many photos! You may be in luck and see the famous white wallaby. Of course you will have opportunities to buy the amazing food Bruny Island produces.
Just a short ferry ride from the Tasmanian mainland, spectacular Bruny Island is a feast for the senses. We taste delicious Bruny Island Cheese and walk to the Neck Lookout at the centre of the island, with incredible 360 degree views. At Cape Bruny we’ll try to spot Bruny’s famous white wallabies, walk to the lighthouse and watch the surf roll in. At Adventure Bay, choose between an award winning Bruny Island Cruise (extra cost) or the beautiful Fluted Cape walk. Local oysters can be purchased on our drive back to the ferry. Return to Hobart by 6:30pm
