Koala Gardens, our award winning 'boutique' wildlife experience gives visitors a great opportunity to meet some of Australia's iconic wildlife. Take the opportunity to 'Cuddle a Koala' (extra cost includes a digital souvenir photo).
See koalas, wombats, hand feed tame wallabies, observe freshwater crocodiles and see the lizards basking in the sun.
All this right in Kuranda Village markets. A courtesy bus runs every few minutes from the Kuranda Train and Skyrail terminals to the village.

Make own way to Kuranda Koala Gardens located in the town of Kuranda on the Atherton Tablelands. This is approximately 25 kilometres from Cairns at the top of the mountain range to the West. Kuranda Koala Gardens is located in the Heritage Markets.
